Description

Sorrel (Hibiscus Roselle, not the green herb sorrel popular in the UK) is a popular drink in the West Indies and some parts of Africa. In the Wet Indies it is synonymous with Christmas because the flower blooms in the Christmas season. It can be dried for use out of season.

It is rich in vitamin C, and flavonoids (anti – inflammatory properties).

SKOTS sorrel is made with dried sorrel, sugar( or optionally Agave sugar substitute or sweeteners for reduced sugar) cinnamon, bay leaf, cloves, a hint of ginger and essence.
